Thank you for taking the time to check our Blogger. Please review the posts from this week as there is some information to share and a game for your child to teach you.
This week we have been working on letter formation and identification (in French), classroom vocabulary/routine phrases and counting to 10.
Some things to ask your child about:
-What was your favourite moment from this week?
-Have you been trying to speak French when you know the words?
-What do you like best about grade 1?
-Have you made a new friend?
-Is there anything you need help with?
What can we do at home? (This is a question I receive frequently, so I thought I'd make a few suggestions...)
-printing his/her name with only the first letter being capitalized
-practicing printing letters and words (in English or French)
-read to your child
-play our weekly Math game (if applicable)
